The new Gear VR headset works with the  Galaxy S8 Plus ( $789.92 at Amazon Marketplace ) , S8, S7, S7 Edge, Note5, S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ and comes with Micro USB and USB-C adapters. The extra bits of gear, however, mean keeping track of small dongles. Google's more elegant Daydream View design works without any plug-in dongles at all, but the larger Gear VR, while bulkier and more plastic, fits better on my face. Again, don't get a new Gear VR headset if you have an old one; just buy the new remote instead. The Gear VR still works with wired headphones, leaving the headphone jack space on the phone unobstructed. But it's probably better to use wireless headphones to reduce the cable tangle. I've been using the latest version one with the new  Galaxy S8 Plus  over the last couple of weeks. To be clear, this isn't the same high-end VR hardware as the  HTC Vive  or  Oculus Rift.  Those are more-advanced pieces of tech that also require a cutting-edge

The other thing to consider is that now the Xbox userbase is slightly fragmented. The gamers who own an Xbox One S will get to play Xbox-exclusives like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3 in HDR, while owners of the original hardware will only get to see them in the standard color range. That will mean the difference in conversations about which games are beautiful or, more frightening, how games handled loading times and lag. Microsoft originally said that there wasn't any real difference between the hardware inside the Xbox One S and the original console but performance analyses conducted after the console's launch have found that certain games will run slightly more smoothly on the new console.  Whether a discrepancy between systems will be a boon for Microsoft or a curse, however, the Xbox One S is quite easily the best system, hardware-wise, since the Xbox 360 Elite that Microsoft released back in 2007, especially when you consider its price – $399 (£349 / AU$549) fo

The Canon 700D is one of the greatest mid-range cameras of all time. However, cameras like the 700D aren't novels or albums and so, it must eventually stand aside for something better still. In this case that'll be the  Canon 750D and 760D , the two cameras are technically identical, but the 760D caters for enthusiasts (with a top-mounted information LCD and extra mode dial) while the more basic 750D has less controls and is aimed at novices who still want good image quality. Since our original review, the 700D has slightly dropped in price. You can find the  18-55mm lens kit and body for just under £500 . Of course with the 750D and 760D cameras already out, you'll see some cheaper prices on the 700D, so is it worth considering this older model?
SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 – DESIGN After the massive, and much needed, change in design direction Samsung took with the Galaxy S6 and  Galaxy S6 Edge  in 2015, all rumours pointed to things staying pretty much the same for the Galaxy S7. Well, it’s not like Apple, HTC or Sony make drastic changes to their industrial design every year. And that’s exactly the case here. Place the Galaxy S7 next to the S6 and you’d be hard pushed to instantly pick which one is which. Frankly, this doesn’t bother me in the slightest. The S6 was already one of the best-looking phones around, and the Galaxy S7 follows suit. Both the front and back are covered in Gorilla Glass 4, while a metal rim snakes in between. Two volume buttons sit on one side, with a lock/standby switch on the other. It’s a clean look, with the back free from any markings aside from a Samsung logo. The camera lens now sits just about flush with the glass body too. This might seem a small change, but it makes a big difference. I
